Google OAuth Disclosure

Sportzzbook uses Google Sign-In within our mobile application (available on Android via Google Play) to provide a fast, secure way for users to create an account and log in. This page explains exactly what data we access from your Google account, how we use it, how we protect it, and how you can revoke access.

What Is Sportzzbook?

Sportzzbook is a social networking platform for the sports community. Athletes, coaches, gym enthusiasts, and sports professionals use Sportzzbook to connect with each other, share photos and videos of their achievements, and discover career opportunities. Google Sign-In is used solely to simplify the account creation and login process.

What Data We Access From Your Google Account

When you sign in with Google, Sportzzbook requests access to the following information only:

• Email Address: Used to create your Sportzzbook account, uniquely identify you, and send important account-related communications (e.g. security alerts, password resets).
• Profile Name: Used to set up your public profile on Sportzzbook so other users in the sports community can find and connect with you.
• Profile Picture: Used to display your avatar within the Sportzzbook app and website.

What We Do NOT Access

Sportzzbook does not request or access any of the following from your Google account:

• Google Drive files or documents
• Google Calendar events
• Google Contacts
• Gmail messages
• Google Photos
• YouTube data
• Google Maps or location data
• Any other Google service or product data

How We Use Your Google Data

• Account Creation: Your email and name are used to create your Sportzzbook account so you don't have to fill in a registration form manually.
• Authentication: Google Sign-In is used to verify your identity each time you log in to Sportzzbook.
• Profile Setup: Your name and profile picture are used to populate your Sportzzbook profile, which you can edit at any time.

How We Do NOT Use Your Google Data

• We never sell your Google user data to anyone.
• We do not use your Google data for advertising, retargeting, or marketing purposes.
• We do not transfer your Google data to third parties, except as required to provide our core services or as required by law.
• We do not combine your Google data with data from other sources for advertising or profiling.

Data Storage & Security

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS using industry-standard encryption.
• Google OAuth tokens are stored securely and are never logged or exposed in application logs.
• We do not store your Google password — authentication is handled entirely by Google's OAuth 2.0 system.
• Your Google data is retained only as long as your Sportzzbook account is active. Upon account deletion, all Google user data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Google API Services Compliance

Sportzzbook's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How to Revoke Access

You can revoke Sportzzbook's access to your Google account at any time by visiting your Google Account Permissions page and removing Sportzzbook from the list of connected apps. After revoking access, Sportzzbook will no longer be able to use your Google profile data for authentication.
